To build national support for the enforcement of "Article the First", the true first Amendment, and the last Amendment, the "Equal Rights Amendment", both duly Ratified Amendments to the United States Constitution.
To Educate and inform the citizens of the United States about the true historical events leading up to the formation of our Country.
It was the first of twelve Amendments proposed to the United states Constitution. In short, it declares that we are supposed to have 1 Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives for no more than every 50,000 citizens. Currently the average is 1 per 775,000, leaving the citizenry with virtually no representation. Contrary to what we have been taught, it was Ratified by the end of 1792 and is part of the Supreme law of the land, The United States Constitution.
It's simple. It's taken 230 years just to put these simple words into the Constitution.
"Everyone is Equal under the Law". Here's the Actual verbiage so no one can quibble:
"Section 1. Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
"Section 2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
"Section 3. This amendment shall take effect two years after the date of ratification."
The requisite number of States did Ratify the Amendment 2 years ago, so it should be enforced NOW. It is being held up in Congress despite the fact that the Federal courts have ruled that the Congress has no say or power over a Ratified Amendment and that technically nothing else has to be done to qualify an Amendment. As a note, that also applies to "Article the First".
